I grew up as a military kid who moved all over the U.S., and now I live abroad with my husband and our three girls. We started in Spain, then moved to Japan, and now we live in Singapore.
I've learned to rebuild life in a new place again and again. To read a culture through its people. To make friends fast and listen intently to their stories. And to notice even the tiniest detail that can be easily overlooked.
Most of those observations eventually find their way back into the studio through painting, styling, or whatever I’m curious enough to try next.
