Which led to art lessons in high school, and a Graphic Design Degree in College.

Really, it’s no surprise that I became an

Seeing a color and mixing the exact shade on paper became second nature to me.

The more I explored the world of branding, the more I saw how hearing someone’s story could be tied directly to a set of colors or a piece of art created just for them.

After Spain, we moved to Japan, and now our family lives in Singapore. Moving has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember, and I think it’s made me pay attention in a different way.

The act of mixing paint, color matching, and making something that belonged specifically to that person became the part I kept wanting more of. My love for educating clients about color grew, but so did my curiosity about all the other ways a story could make its way into something visual.

And life kept giving me plenty to notice.

In 2019, Lindale Studios was born out of a longing for art to blend seamlessly with life while I was a young mom.

I notice peeling paint on an old wall and wonder what was underneath it before. I notice how buildings sit beside each other, how color changes the feeling of a place, and how much you can learn by paying attention to the people who actually live there.

That way of noticing keeps showing up in the studio. It’s there when I’m mixing a set of brand colors, designing a custom piece for a brand, painting something for a home, or working through a new idea on canvas.
