When Anne Kelley Events approached me to bring some beautiful wedding details to life for Natalie and Kyle’s special day, I was thrilled at the opportunity. Why was I so excited? Because I love when couples are willing to try unique wedding ideas that make their wedding stand out while tying everything together—from the wedding invitations to reception decorations.

My process began with gathering inspiration from the plates, flowers, and the wedding invitations. I mixed the colors and hues and created a combination of colors that would compliment the couple’s wedding ideas and plans. 

For this wedding, I hand painted several pieces. I painted a styling mat to help the wedding photographers create beautiful, cohesive flat lays.

I also created a backdrop for the cake, inserts for the front of the cocktail bar, drink tray inserts, custom place cards, and table numbers. All these pieces brought the look and feel of the wedding together.
